How I finally got into using AI

For years I've been wanting to create an image inspired by the iconic image at the end of Planet of the Apes where the statue of Liberty was either replaced by a Planet MVS on the back of Atlas or buried in the sand. I've day dreamed about hiring an graphic artist to create this image. Then in March 2025 ChatGPT added 4o Image Generation and it was included with the free plan. The ability to create fun images was within the reach of non-graphic artist like myself.

The next image I wanted to create was a Beatles Sgt. Pepper's but with dinosaurs. Then I started creating a bunch of images with those 4 T.Rex and actually more than I could use for this web site. AI image creation is a new hobby for a while and it does eat into my binge TV watching. Watching streamed British TV crime shows was put on hold while I generated images and videos using AI.

Just prior to getting ChatGPT I saw this Youtube channel called UnBeatled that has a Sgt. Pepper's inspired logo.

It may be kind of annoying that the most of the images for the links in the main landing page have nothing to do with the subject. I wanted to keep the classic rock album cover theme going. . .

A practical use of ChatGPT was looking into how much AI knows mainframe assembler. It knows the basics of mainframe assembler but can't currently generate a complete working program in my limited usage or maybe non-optimal prompts.

I don't use AI as a human therapist replacement.
