Freeware: Assembler - DASRC - DA$IDC

DA$IDC is a batch utility that invokes IDCAMS and intercepts the IDCAMS records via the IDCAMS output exit and does some output enhancements and data capture.

The RECAP option is a nice way to get a consise list of files with volume information on single lines.

Here's sample output showing some of the enhancements to the IDCAMS output:

IDCAMS headling lines show date with century (using windowing)
Creation date shown as day-of-the-week and gregorian (ISO format).
Time stamp hex string shown as normal date and time.
