It's a good idea to have a one pack IPLable system handy just in case
you run into the situation where you can't IPL your production systems.
Here are two jobs that probably won't work asis in your
environment. It has dependancies on how I installed my OS/390 R6
system. It can be used as a example for creating an IPLable system.
These jobs worked at my shop and I've IPL'd successfully from it.
These jobs were based on a jobstream that a guy sent me. Sorry but I
don't remember his name or have his job to share. You will no doubt
run these jobs many times until you get the right mix of datasets
on your one pack system. You may even need to copy datasets from
your secondary SYSRES. Good Luck.
Hopefully you won't ever need this system but it's good insurance.
